Natural Grey Human Hair – Salt-and-Pepper Bundles, Clip-ins, Toppers and Wigs

Natural grey hair is dark strands mixed evenly with white and silver, taken from donors whose hair has greyed on its own. It cannot be copied convincingly with dye, which is why it is the best way to blend extensions into greying hair. Arrow Exim sells it as raw Indian temple hair from our Chennai factory.

Why natural grey is rare

Most donated hair comes from younger people, so naturally greyed hair is scarce. An even blend of dark and white in one ponytail is rarer still, because many heads grey in patches. Our team hand-sorts the hair, and long lengths are the hardest to find.

Choose your shade

Shades are graded by the share of white strands.

Light silver (10–30% white): mostly dark with soft silver.
Salt and pepper (40–60% white): the classic balanced blend.
Silver (70–90% white): mostly silver with dark lowlights.
Near white (almost all white): the rarest grade.

To choose, part your hair where the extensions will sit, estimate the ratio of grey to dark, and pick the nearest grade. You can also combine two adjacent grades. Ask us for daylight photos and a sample before a larger order.

What we make in grey

Bundles, clip-ins, toppers, tape-ins, keratin tips, wefts and full wigs. Our natural grey and white bundles come in loose wave, body wave, natural straight and natural curly, in lengths from 10 to 32 inches, at about 98–100 g per bundle.

How to tell natural grey from bleached white

Natural grey feels firmer and does not turn mushy when stretched wet. Bleached white strands often do. Ask any supplier for photos in daylight and a sample before you buy in bulk.

Looking after grey hair

White strands show heat damage and product build-up quickly. Style gently with a heat protectant, keep heat modest, and use a clarifying wash from time to time to keep the blend clean. Keep each batch separate and labelled if you serve repeat clients, so you can match the shade next time.

Buying grey hair wholesale

Our wholesale minimum is 2.5 kg, which is 25 bundles of 100 g. A single bundle or piece can be ordered as a sample first. Test a sample for natural colour with no artificial dye, soft texture and colour uniformity.
